Rwanda is renowned in the specialty coffee world, with meticulous harvesting that includes handpicking, floating cherries to remove defects, pulping, wet fermentation, and sun-drying. Post-harvest, the coffee undergoes careful sorting and milling to ensure exceptional quality.

Driven by smallholder farmers, Rwanda’s coffee industry has made an impressive comeback since the 1994 genocide. Today, 95% of its production comes from Arabica Bourbon varieties, known for their exquisite flavor-just like Isimbi.
