Finca Miramar is a recently renovated farm established by seasoned coffee producer Fernando Alfaro, who brings over 30 years of expertise to the project. Nestled in the village of Santa Tecla on the fertile slopes of the San Salvador Volcano, the farm enjoys nutrient-rich volcanic soils and a cool microclimate. These natural advantages create ideal conditions for growing high-quality micro lots with distinctive profiles.
This lot is processed using the natural method, beginning with mechanical drying to precisely control moisture content. It is then transferred to raised beds to complete drying under the sun. This hybrid approach helps retain the coffee’s inherent fruit character while promoting clarity and cleanliness in the final cup.
In the cup, expect vivid notes of red fruits and tart cranberry, balanced by a smooth, chocolatey finish. A bright, layered coffee, suited for both filter and espresso.
